Why Your Mornings Decide Your Day
Tomorrow morning can go like this. You get up, drink a glass of water and sit down at a desk you cleared last night. The file is already open. Next to the laptop is a note with a first step small enough to do half awake.
Your phone is off, in another room. Within 5 minutes you're working on the task that matters most that day, and for the next hour nothing reaches you. By the time you read your first message, you've put an hour into your own work.
If your morning opens with a workout or the school run, keep it. The same picture starts when you get back, and your messages stay closed from the moment you wake.
Right now the morning may go differently. The alarm rings and you pick up the phone "for a second." You put it down 40 minutes later, still in bed and already behind on a day that hasn't started.
